Workout Review Millionaire Hoy 35 Min. MAX Cardio HIIT Endurance Workout | HIIT Start Day 02

Vida Fitness Opening PartyHello!

Time for a quick workout review. I have been trying to fit in some workout videos from You Tube and have tried out a few new trainers. Millionaire Hoy is one of them that was recommended to me. If you are looking for a quick, solid and challenging workout Millionaire Hoy’s workouts may be for you.

The Day 2 Max Cardio HIIT click here is 35 minutes total, including a warm up and cool down. You move the entire time. It is hard, but after the 35 minutes you really feel worked.

It contains a lot of plyometrics (jumping) and high impact exercises, so it is a more advanced workout and not suitable for anyone with joint issues or injuries. Hoy does provide some low impact options and you could certainly come up with your own, however, essentially it is designed to be a high impact cardio workout.

The HIIT in the workout name is a little misleading to me, because it really is continuous aerobic activity, not really intervals where there is a clear rest break, or even lower energy activity break, between the action. He does do each exercise for a set time and then switch to the next one. So exercises are broken up, but you move from one to the other without rest. At the end of the round active water breaks are provided. I have seen other trainers and instructors use the term HIIT in the same way, however, so it could be me who is incorrectly using the term.

The warm up, cool down and stretching are nice and fairly thorough for such a short workout.

I really enjoyed it and will certainly try more of his workouts. They are definitely great for me when I am very very short on time but really want to get it done.

Have you tried any new workouts lately? Do you enjoy HIIT?

  1. I did some HIIT workouts back when I was gymming before my seachange… but there’s no way I could do it now.

The circuit sessions I’ve started have 30-40 second breaks between each exercise and a 2min break between each lap of the circuit. And I SO need that. Plus some of the exercises are less intense than others. (Never thought I’d say that about bicep curls or upright rows, but…)

    • I love circuits at the moment, well okay love is maybe too strong of a word. But they are effective and usually more efficient! Good on you for getting out there and going.
