June! Checking in!

I can’t believe we are in June! I did not get through all my drafted May posts, or even come close. SO I will still share a few #moreinmay posts in June and run the competition this month. The last few weeks have been insanely busy and unfortunately blogging has fallen by the wayside.

My goal for this month is to get more organised and if I am able to achieve that I will finish my #moreinmay posts, run the comp and even maybe share a few fitness posts and perhaps some on things that are helping me get organised. Organisation is definitely not my middle name. I guess my parents were kind.

The girls school term is wrapping up towards the end of this month so June is going to be a month of accomplishment. It has also been incredibly cold here! I believe we had the coldest June day in 5 years the other day. The weather has been lovely though right in the middle of the day, perfect for walks by the ocean. Otherwise I am finding it freezing. And it is only like 4 days into winter, so I am hoping we start with the coldest weather… Could happen right? (Australians are wimps when it comes to cold weather.)

I will keep this post short and leave you with a few pics of life lately…

How have you been? What is the weather like where you are?

  1. Florida is going into the rainy season. Highs around 90 degrees F. I prefer heat any day. Cold paralyzes me 🙂

Organization is relative. I once worked for a British Endocrinologist who had his papers and files all over tables and desks in his office. He went on vacation, and for a moment I thought I would be helpful and clean and organize his office for him. Fortunately, before I did that I realized I would be creating a disaster for him when he came back, lol

  2. We are in what should be the run up to summer here, and we’ve been having a lot of cold weather too. I find it disheartening. We’ll get the odd day or two of warm sunshine, then it turns cold. For today, the sun is shining, so I plan to enjoy it while it lasts!

    • I know the changing back and forwards kills me, you are right though I should enjoy the warm days! (And not whinge about the cold ones).

  3. It does sound like June will be a month of achievements for your household. I’m also trying to get more organised so fingers crossed both of us get a bit more done in June.

It’s finally gotten cooler here in Queensland and I’m one happy little chappie!
